One material, any shape of filter
PureFibe™ is a filter material, not a single filter. It can be supplied flat, for machines whose motor pulls air through a panel, or formed into pleated cartridges, rings and custom geometries for machines with other air paths. The material is the same throughout; the shape follows the machine.
Forms the material takes
Every air-moving machine has its own path for the air and its own space for the filter. PureFibe™ is formed to fit that path rather than the other way round.
Flat media and panels
For machines whose motor draws air through a flat area: a cut sheet or a framed panel, with the mesh and support layer giving it the stiffness to sit flat in the housing.
Pleated cartridges
For upright machines with a vertical air path. Pleating folds a large area of media into a compact cylinder; air passes through the pleated wall and leaves clean at the top.
Pleated rings
For shallow housings where air is drawn in around a circumference, such as hood-type or arm-mounted dust collectors. A flat ring puts the largest possible media area into a thin space.
Custom geometries
Cones, panels with cut-outs, elements with moulded end caps or foam seals. Where a machine needs a shape of its own, the material is formed and sealed to the housing.
Where it fits
PureFibe™ was developed for professional nail work, where fine dust exposure is a daily reality and the machines are small. The same material suits any equipment where fine dust has to be captured and held while the airflow stays useful.
- Nail and beauty dust collectors Desk-mounted, built-in and arm-mounted units for manicure and pedicure work.
- Dental laboratory and podiatry extraction Bench extraction units handling fine acrylic, resin and nail dust.
- Vacuum cleaners Household and commercial machines where the exhaust air should leave the fine fraction behind.
- Workshop and industrial dust extractors Collectors for fine sanding, grinding and powder dusts.
- Air purifiers and room air cleaners Panel and cylindrical elements for recirculating room air.
- Enclosures and cabinets Extraction from 3D-printing, laser and powder-handling enclosures.
Reference implementations
Two elements already produced with PureFibe™ for professional nail dust collectors show how the material behaves in a working machine. They are examples of what can be built, not a catalogue.
For manufacturers
PureFibe™ is available as media and as finished elements. We can work from your housing drawings to develop an element that fits, or supply the material for you to form yourself.
The useful things to tell us at the start: the airflow of the machine, the space available for the filter, how the element is sealed, and the kind of dust it has to handle.
For users and distributors
If you use or sell equipment with PureFibe™ elements and want to know what is available for a particular machine, send us the make and model and we will point you in the right direction.
